I will dominate 'serious boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua
Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of these statements, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."

Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.

However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's largest money-making draws, consistently making substantial earnings.

The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
